All companies in Bulgaria should prepare Annual Financial Statements, complete Annual Tax Returns, to make reports to the National Statistical Institute, etc. Companies which may use an accountant once after expiry of the financial year instead of keeping the current accounts are those whose business permits them to do so or those which are not operating during the year or which are not registered under the VAT Act or have no staff.
